I’m a female photographer based in Rossendale, Lancashire. My photographic passions are Weddings, Lifestyle Portraiture, Bump Photography and Vintage Boudoir Photography. I love pretty details, emotion, capturing the moment and timeless classic style. I have been working as a freelance photographer for 10 years, working on Weddings and Boudoir for 6 years. We are award winning with over 10 years experience photographing ladies. Good boudoir photography is all about the right poses, lighting, hair and make up and photographer – that’s me, then we can all have the covergirl look.
Black Books are independent Boudoir Photographers, not a chain or large company and therefore our clients are treated as individuals. We dont rush our shoots, cause we have the next clients waiting, or book in client after client. We work on 2 clients maximum in a day.We offer total pampering and give the best service and experience possible. Every shoot is very personal to me as I am ‘Black Books’, I really get to know each lady that comes to see us and I absolutely LOVE shooting Boudoir Photography.
We are an all female team based on the outskirts if Manchester, close to Liverpool, Cheshire and Lancashire. With ladies travelling from all over the UK and Europe to see us. Boudoir photoshoots are a great opportunity to get glammed up in your favourite lingerie! It can also be a fantastic confidence booster for yourself or a stunning gift for someone special. Ladies come to see us for all sorts of reasons and occasions; getting married, getting divored, losing weight, special birthdays, his birthday, anniversaries, body image, turning 50 or just cause you can!
Lisa (below) explains what drew her to a boudoir shoot:
‘I did it as a wedding present for my husband to be and also as a treat for my 27th birthday as the photoshoot was also on my birthday
I loved the shoot, I felt relaxed and was made to feel like a superstar and the makeup was amazing.When I got my pics I was blown away I couldnt believe how sexy I looked and I’m sure my hubby will think the same.’
