The Great Lancashire Wedding Show returned to the USN Bolton Arena on Sunday 9th November and was an amazing day!
Over 100 fabulous exhibitors spent so much time and effort putting together their stands that the brides attending the show were in for a real treat. An awful lot of planning goes into the Little White Books’ Great Lancashire Wedding Show and the team was there throughout Saturday while the shell build team put together our exhibition space.
Exhibitors arrived on Saturday afternoon to put together their stands and get ready for a busy Sunday. And busy it certainly was!
The queues formed outside the doors as has happened for every one of our shows and they were treated to the sight of some fabulous vehicles along with the smell of barista coffee and freshly-made wood-fired pizza!
Shortly after our show opened we all paused in silence for two very poignant minutes to show our respect on Remembrance Sunday for our fallen men and women. It’s very special to stand in such a vast space with thousands of people all observing the same moment.
The show was packed with all sorts of different suppliers, from bridalwear to photographers, cake-makers to cars, beauty demos to catwalks, singers to florists and everything in between! So much inspiration in one place and lots of excited couples too!
We’re already looking forward to bringing the show back again on 26th April 2015, so make sure you save the date! This time we return as the Great Northern Wedding Show to reflect our spread of exhibitors from Manchester, Merseyside, Cheshire, West Yorkshire and into Cumbria as well as those from our roots in Lancashire.
