Today we meet Helen Scott and her gorgeous designs. I love Helen’s stationery and the fresh, clean look of the designs shown below.
‘I became a freelance Graphic Design when I graduated from my Graphic Communication and Design degree at University in 2010, in was then later in 2012 that I found my love for Wedding Stationery when I was asked to design some for a friend. I enjoyed the process of working with the bride, coming up with a starting concept and developing it to a finished product. Since then the business rebranded as ‘Helen Scott Design’ to cover both Graphic Design and Wedding Stationery.
I have some pre designed stationery collections on my website, but I also offer a bespoke design service, in which I’ll work with a bride and groom to come up with their dream stationery. This service is ideal for brides who have a certain theme or style in mind and I love the opportunities of exploring new styles and designs.
Inspiration for my wedding collections come from art, music, fashion and nature. I always sketch my ideas out before sitting down on the computer and developing them. Creating all the stationery for the run up to the wedding, coordinating on the day stationery, and even the thank you cards after the big day.
The final touches and finishing details are what adds that extra special feel to the stationery. My printed range, can be printed on a wide choice of card stock, including recycled or even magnetic card! I also love ribbons and embellishments to add that extra sparkle.
