From
the moment you enter Crow Wood Leisure you know you’re somewhere
lovely. Immediately as you open the door to The Woodland Spa you’re enveloped in
that lovely weighty quietness that makes you relax.
I just love this place. It’s warm and inviting and
comfortable and relaxing. The large round hydrotherapy pool is like being in
the best bath in the world; warm and with lots of different water jets to
explore. Heated tiled loungers around the side make a perfect place to warm up
and relax if you’ve had a dip in the outdoor pool. The outside hot tubs are
definitely worth a sit in and if you’re lucky enough to be there when it’s
sunny there’s plenty of space to sit outside.
The saunas and steam rooms cater for different heat
tolerances so there will definitely be at least one you’ll be comfortable
sitting in, and you can cool down in the experience Showers. I think my favourite area in the Thermal Experience though
is the Serenity Pool. Low lights, sparkly light ceiling, lovely warm water and
lots of comfy loungers to relax on. Each one has a wall light for reading too
so you can have some quiet time without disturbing the low lights.
The spa also offers a full range of treatments in its lovely
rooms so you can pamper yourself to the extreme.
Follow up your relaxation with
a delicious afternoon tea in Bertram’s Restaurant, and even make it extra
special with a glass of champagne.
The Woodland Spa offers luxury hen parties from just £39 per
person plus the Bride to be qualifies for complimentary access to the Thermal
Experience. Woodland Spa’s Thermal Experience on its own is perfect for a few
hours of total downtime. They offer full spa day packages too if you want to
extend your experience and have recently opened three luxury bedrooms in
addition to the spa apartment for a weekend of pampering, fun and relaxation. A
