Team LWB recently had a lovely “day at the office”. Our Autumn 2017 season is now in the planning (sounds crazy, we know!) and so we needed to get started on the creative. So in the glorious Media City sunshine, Little White Books got together
with some of the North West’s finest wedding suppliers and shot the cover for
our Autumn 2017 magazine and Great Northern Wedding Show billboards at The
Lowry Theatre at Media City.
The Lowry is a magnificent venue, it presented us with so
many creative options that we were spoilt for choice. We’re back here with another

Our models – Hannah and Sam – get married in June 2017 at the stunning Ashfield House and
have planned their wedding with Little White Books right from the start, so it
was such a pleasure to get them involved in this shoot! Hannah is a pocket
rocket, very Carrie Bradshaw and she looked absolutely beautiful in the dresses
provided by #GNWA2016 Best Bridalwear Retailer Amelia’s, who also kitted Sam out
for the shoot and they were dressed by Amelia’s very own very funny and talented Jo.
Hannah’s shoes that you see here were provided by Charlotte
Mills – the stunning Alexis Pink peep toe sling backs. She also wore a pair of bespoke, customised shoes from Eleventh Heaven by Ann McKavney – and check out the absolutely glorious hair piece that Ann created, all
the ladies on the shoot tried it on! Sam (who literally NEVER stops smiling!) also wore a classic pair of PUMA States supplied by our friends at PUMA UK.
With GNWA Award Winner Kerry Baker on make-up and Carly’s Creations Hair on hair we knew the creative styling and finish would be perfect – they,
and all the suppliers, have done Team LWB proud – again!
The weather was
glorious but it was VERY hot on set so Hannah needed regular touch-ups and as
we featured two looks, Kerry and Carly got to showcase their full range of
talents – transforming the looks from day to night with gorgeous results. And
what a giggle we had – I’m STILL humming the Charlie’s Angels theme tune!

Red Floral Architecture show exactly why they have been voted Best Florist by North West brides for two
successive years at The Great Northern Wedding Awards with bouquets and button
holes full of colour, bursting with the most gorgeous succulent textures and painstaking attention to
detail. We’re saving the best of the shots for the official launch – you’re in
for such a treat!
We even got to have a ride around The Quays with City Centre Cruises so we could view and shoot The Lowry from the water. It’s a wonderful way
to explore this spectacular part of our region. The boat caters for lots of
different events, and they regularly host Hen Nights and Wedding Receptions,
