Decadent, sophisticated…and uniquely Red Floral; Our Styled Shoot at Stanley House

If you’re looking for a wedding venue surrounded by picturesque
countryside with sweeping views of a flawless rural setting but you also want
more than a touch of glamour and sophistication then Stanley House is the ideal
wedding venue for you.

You will find Stanley House in Mellor (in between Preston and
Blackburn), down beautiful, winding country lanes with awesome views that
show exactly why the Ribble Valley and the surrounding area is a real hot-spot
with on-trend brides and grooms. The hotel is privately owned and run by
the Walker family and opened in 2004 following a spectacular
conversion of the ruins of a 17th Century Manor House. The Grade II listed
building, demonstrating its heritage, is now complemented with opulent modern
additions. This refreshing fusion of the conventional and contemporary
makes Stanley House the number one destination of choice.

We
got together with an incredible team of wedding suppliers for this gorgeous
styled shoot. Red Floral Architecture, Jeff Langhorne Photography, Knutsford
Wedding Gallery, Flossy and Leigh, Eleventh Heaven, The Frostery and Marry Me
Films met on a grey May day, but even the uncooperative weather couldn’t dull
the splendour of this beautiful place. We were met at the door by the
Events team and the amazing Bethany was on hand all day to make sure we had
everything we needed – which mirrors the high level of service that the Stanley
House team offer couples and their guests.

Working with crisp whites and decadent greens with the signature
Red Floral Architecture twists and special touches, the busy Red team pulled together an
amazing showcase of styles, decorating the room for a full sit down wedding
reception however each individual table had its own focus and personality. We
can’t get enough of the budgie and ostrich shots!

The dress and styling was impeccable – the dream team of Flossy
& Leigh, Knutsford Wedding Gallery and Eleventh Heaven created an elegant,
sophisticated look for our model – chic, effortless and oozing with style, this
look is perfect for the high-end Stanley House bride.

The Frostery took their inspiration from the Red Floral colour
scheme and produced this incredible cake, with the hand-painted, painstaking
attention to detail that makes The Frostery one of the leading cake creators in
the UK.
