The shining stars of the Great Northern Wedding Awards in a very special styled shoot at Mitton Hall #GNWA2018

The Great Northern Wedding Awards were established in 2015,
and we’re very proud of every wedding supplier who has received nominations and
votes from you, our gorgeous Little White Books couples. To celebrate the
2018 award winners we invited some of the current holders to take part in a
very special, unique styled shoot to showcase their awesome talents and give
you inspiration for the planning of your own very special day.

Mitton Hall in the Ribble Valley is a magnificent
place. Winners of the Best Venue With Accommodation AND the Best Venue
Team award we knew that spending the day with Lesley-Anne and her team would be
a pleasure, but they exceeded our expectations as they always do and
their warm hospitality and super-efficient team meant our photo shoot day
could not have been more perfect.

The stunning dresses for this shoot were supplied by Best
Bridal Wear Retailer Amelia’s Bridal and Best New Business Kimberley Anne
Bridal Boutique. We were thoroughly spoilt and got to spend the day
dressing our beautiful models Amy and Laura in amazing designs from Rosa Clara,
Sottero & Midgley, Mori Lee, Catherine Deane, Felicity Cooper Bridal, Dando
London and Caroline Castigliano.

The incredibly intricate hoop floral backdrop was created by
the team at Red Floral Architecture, winners of Best Florist for 3 consecutive
years. It’s easy to see why couples vote for the Red Team in their

In our awards we recognise both the Best Female and the Best Male photographers in the region. Kerry Woods have taken the crown for three consecutive years, with Mick Cookson winning for the second time.
They offer very different styles, and it’s wonderful to see how different
photographers capture the same scene – with breath-taking results!

Husband and Wife team Sara and Tony from Marry Me Films were
Highly Commended in the Best Videography category, and we were thrilled that
they brought their drone to capture the sweeping landscape of Mitton

Our Glam Squad for the day were Kerry Baker: Make Up Artist
and Bridal Hair by Sam Gateley and Co., (winners of Best Make Up and Best Hair)
and they both pulled out all the beauty stops! Each model was styled with
